New inexpensive C-Class sedan – Chevrolet Monza
Chevrolet Monza is an inexpensive C-class sedan with an expressive design and modern interior. The model is offered in gasoline and hybrid versions.
Presentation of the new Chevrolet Monza took place in China. The budget C-class sedan will go on sale at a price of 94,900 to 108,900 yuan ($13,500 to $15,500). This is reported by the official website of the concern General Motors.
The inexpensive Chevrolet Monza sedan has been known since the 1970s and is a more affordable alternative to the Cruze model. In some countries, the model is marketed under the name Cavalier (under this name it was on sale in Ukraine for a while).
Top-end model consumes an average of 5.86 l/100 km
The Monza resembles the recently introduced Chevrolet Seeker crossover in design. It has a huge grille and oblong headlights, and the sides are made in relief. The car slightly increased in size – it reaches 4656 mm in length with a wheelbase of 2640 mm. The trunk space is 405 liters.
The interior of the Chevrolet Monza 2022 is much more modern than its predecessor. The front fascia now features two large 10.25-inch displays – a virtual dashboard and multimedia touchscreen. The steering wheel and gear stick are taken from the Chevrolet Seeker.
The basic package of Chevrolet Monza was updated with a navigation and Apple CarPlay. Options include a rearview camera, wireless charging for smartphones and blind spot monitoring system.
The new Chevrolet Monza is equipped with a 1.5-liter 113-horsepower atmospheric gasoline engine and a 1.3-liter 163-horsepower turbo engine with a “moderate” hybrid setup. In the latter case, the average fuel consumption is 5.86 l/100km.
Focus previously reported that Chevrolet presented the $30,000 Equinox electric crossover with a range of 480 km. Also you can check newest 2023 Equinox owner’s manuals.
