Chevrolet is preparing to launch the updated Equinox 2026 model year, which will be a continuation of the fourth generation of the crossover introduced last year. The new car will receive several minor changes, the main of which will be a new body color called Polar White (paint code G4J). This shade will replace the popular Iridescent Pearl Tricoat (paint code G1W), which has been available since 2016.

Polar White will be available only for Activ and RS trim levels, remaining unavailable for the base LT version, which will be offered exclusively in Summit White (paint code GAZ). Owners of Activ and RS trim levels will have the new color as an optional option, similar to Iridescent Pearl, which cost $995 in 2025.

Mass production of the Chevrolet Equinox 2026 will begin on March 17, 2025 at the GM plant in San Luis Potosí, Mexico. Pre-orders for the new model will start on January 30.

The Equinox remains true to GM’s D2 platform and is powered by the proven 1.5-liter turbocharged I4 LSD engine, delivering the optimal combination of fuel economy and power. This demonstrates Chevrolet’s commitment to offering current design and styling updates while maintaining a time-tested technical foundation.
