Chevrolet presented a bright and inexpensive crossover for young people for $21,500 – Chevrolet Trax

The second-generation Chevrolet Trax has significantly increased in size and has become much more expressive in appearance. The crossover is more richly equipped and has a new 139-horsepower turbocharged engine.

The new Chevrolet Trax has been officially presented in the USA. The second generation of the inexpensive youth crossover will go on sale in the spring at a price of $21,495. This is what the official website of General Motors announced.

Chevrolet Trax 2023, in fact, is a global version of Seeker, introduced this summer in China. The two cars are similar in design – they have a swift silhouette with a sloping coupe-shaped roof and a large angle of inclination of the rear pillars. Chevrolet crossover is built on a new platform and became significantly larger. It is 28 cm longer than the first generation model.

The cabin features a virtual dashboard and a large 11-inch touchscreen turned toward the driver. In the RS version, the steering wheel is beveled at the bottom and the trim is diluted with bright red stitching. The increased size gives the second row 76 mm more legroom.

All Chevrolet Trax 2023 are equipped with cruise control, automatic braking and lane control systems. More expensive versions are equipped with remote engine start, panoramic sunroof and wireless charging for smartphones.

The Chevrolet Trax crossover debuted with a new 1.2-liter turbo engine with 139 horsepower and a six-speed automatic transmission. It is able to reach 100 km/h in 8.6 seconds. Later the lineup can be expanded with a 1.5-liter 184-horsepower engine, because it is equipped with Chevrolet Seeker.
