Chevrolet Blazer updated for big sales
Recently, the demand for the Chevrolet Blazer began to fall rapidly. That is why the brand decided to update it. Although in fact the cause of poor sales is the rash actions of the manufacturer.
Last summer, the model was once again updated, removing the simplest configurations. As a result, the entry-level crossover has risen in price by $5,000, which is quite significant. Chevrolet claims that in this way they wanted to raise the image of the model, but it only turned out worse.
Externally, the updated Blazer is an exact copy of the pre-reform model. The contour of the grille was slightly corrected for the car, and the running lights are now larger. Rear lights in the same housings, but with a new pattern.
Inside, there is a new multimedia system with a screen diagonal that has grown to 10 inches and wireless charging for a smartphone.
The updated crossover will be offered to buyers in three trim levels – LT, Premier and “sporty” RS. For the first two, a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine with 231 hp is available. or a 3.6-liter naturally aspirated engine producing 311 hp. There is only one transmission – a ten-speed automatic. The drive can be either front or full.
The base V6 engine is offered for the RS trim. The drive is full with individual couplings for connecting the rear wheels.
