2008 Chevrolet Corvette Owner's Manual
The Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 was a continuation of the glorious tradition and the most powerful modification of the current Corvette. The abbreviation ZR1 was first used in 1971 to identify eight special models, and in the late ’80s it served as the name of cars created in conjunction with Lotus.
The Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 has classic proportions: the car is very wide, low, and flaunts a large bonnet. The most powerful model in the history of Corvette can be distinguished by carbon fiber roof, more developed bodykit, chrome rims and transparent inset on the bonnet.
The base configuration of the Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 features 19-inch wheels on the front axle and 20-inch wheels with 335/25 tyres on the rear. The model comes with Michelin Pilot Sport tyres, and its suspension is a little softer than the Z06’s because it uses technology that was previously used in the Ferrari 599. Brembo carbon ceramic brakes, coming as a standard equipment, are called to absorb power, force and speed of the supercar.
The interior of Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 is luxurious. The differences in the interior are a scattering of ZR1 emblems, expensive leather and original dashboard with overpressure gauge and speedometer. Everything else is the usual electrics and navigation.
