The 2023 Chevrolet Express is a full-size all-wheel drive van designed for daily work. The vehicle can handle cargo transportation and can also carry up to 15 passengers. The main competitors of the model are RAM ProMaster, Mersedes-Benz, and Ford Transit.

Design and interior

The passenger and cargo models have a full-size body structure and are available with engines. The car gives the impression of a solid minivan.

The radiator grille with small honeycombs is divided by a shiny horizontal stripe. The turn indicators and main headlights are located separately. The rear door consists of two parts, which makes it easier to access the luggage compartment.

The model is available in four configurations: LS 2500, LS 3500, LT 2500 and LT 3500. The models are available with a standard and extended base. Bucket seats in the front row provide comfort for passengers and the driver.

The interior features chrome trim elements, fabric seats, and carpeting.

The car is equipped with a standard stereo system. Regardless of the configuration, the cars have Wi-Fi support. Bluetooth connectivity is available as an option. The package also includes SiriusXM radio and a CD changer. The sound is produced by two speakers.

The center panel has a 6.5-inch multimedia touchscreen. The minivan is equipped with a navigation system.

Specifications

The updated minivan received a V-shaped six-cylinder engine as standard. The power unit has a displacement of 4.3 liters. Its power is 276 “horses”. The engine is mated to an 8-speed transmission. Additionally, there is a more powerful 8-cylinder V-shaped engine with a displacement of 6.6 liters and 401 hp. This engine option is paired with a 6-speed transmission. This power is enough for cargo transportation.

Depending on the modifications, the vehicle received a set of options and systems. The LS has 16-inch wheels, a rearview camera, and air conditioning. The basic set also includes a black bumper and a rearview mirror.

Lane departure warning, front collision warning, and an extended wheelbase are available for the LT.

The updated 2023 van has all the necessary functions and driver assistants to improve safety on the road. The main safety systems include blind spot monitoring, lane keeping and others.
