2018 Chevrolet Bolt EV Owner's Manual
The Chevrolet Bolt EV is a front-wheel-drive electric ‘L’ class microvan. The model debuted at the US Consumer Electronics Show in January 2016.
In its first year, the Chevrolet Bolt EV has won awards such as Motor Trend’s 2017 Car of the Year, North American Car of the Year 2017, AutoGuide.com readers’ choice: Car of the Year 2017, Best Sustainable Car 2017.
With the exception of a few elements, the Bolt EV is almost exactly the same design as the Opel Ampera-e. Unconventional styling and clever body contours have given the car a rather futuristic appearance and a low air resistance coefficient of 0.32. The wedge-shaped front of the minivan features a large raised radiator grille and all-diode lighting. Black partitions between the headlights and the sill line, as well as the rear roof pillars, provide an unusual effect of a soaring car top. The rear-view mirrors, projected behind the roof arches, are in the same colour. The stylish rear end features a wide boot lid, well-defined headlamps and a massive, faceted bumper. Overall dimensions are 4165 mm in length, 1610 mm in height, and 1765 mm in width. Centre-to-centre distance is 2600 millimetres, and ground clearance reaches 115 mm. Thanks to a clever arrangement of the batteries, the boot space is 525 litres, and by folding the rear backrests it can be increased to 1603 liters.
