The five-seat, two-door Chevrolet Monte Carlo luxury coupe has been in production since 1994. The Chevrolet Monte Carlo is popular in the midsize coupe market. The exterior design of the Chevrolet Monte Carlo is close to the classic, the original merged headlights stretched horizontally stand out. In 1999, the Chevrolet Monte Carlo underwent a restyling, as a result of which protrusions appeared on the wings and the shape of the bumpers was changed.

In 1998, the Chevrolet Monte Carlo gets a new electronically controlled torque converter clutch that allows for very smooth shifting and improved gas economy.
