2013 Chevrolet Suburban Owner's Manual

The Chevrolet Suburban is a K3 SUV. The world premiere of the twelfth generation took place in September 2013.

A generation change is a major milestone in the life of any car model, and is almost always accompanied by a significant change in appearance. In the case of the Suburban, this is not quite the case. Designers of Chevrolet, of course, have made certain adjustments to the exterior of the SUV, but it has retained its recognizability. It is important, but more important is that the car has been significantly transformed from the technical point of view.

Twelfth generation Suburban was built on the former platform with an independent front suspension and rigid axle on semi-elliptic leaf springs at the rear, but engineers have expanded the rear track, lengthened the car, maintaining the same wheelbase, improved aerodynamics and have achieved to reduce weight. In addition, the car got electric power steering with automatically variable settings (depending on speed), spotlighting optics, adaptive magnetic dampers as an option, changing damping parameters every five milliseconds, wider tyres, front central airbag, all-round monitoring system, sensors of broken windows, movement in the cabin and vertical movement.
