All power units offered for a coupe body are also relevant for a convertible. The base is a 2-liter turbocharged petrol engine, which develops 275 hp and works together with either a 6-speed “manual” or 8-speed “automatic”. The next engine is a 3.6-liter V-shaped atmospheric six, which develops 335 hp. The richer 1SS and 2SS versions are offered with a 6.2-liter V-shaped eight from the Corvette, producing 455 hp. Such convertibles have different styling. At the top of the range is the ZL1 with the same displacement 6.2 liter engine, which is boosted to 650 hp and 881 Nm of torque. You can order a 10-speed automatic with this engine. It is easy to distinguish this car because of more aggressive design (a huge grille with large cells, black bonnet with a black insert, black body kit, and four vents of exhaust system). Traditionally for pony-cars, all versions of the car have only rear-wheel drive.

Basic equipment of 1LS convertible includes six airbags, active electronic StabiliTrak with traction control, LED daytime running lights, 18-inch wheels, keyless entry system and engine start with button, rearview camera, climate and cruise control, multimedia system with 7-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support, 6-speakers, power front seats. In addition, there is also a locking rear differential, variable-ratio steering and Driver Selector Mode – the ability to customise the intensity of throttle response, the automatic transmission’s robot programme, stabilisation system settings, steering sharpening and other systems.
