1969 Chevrolet Camaro Owner's Manual

The 1969 Chevrolet Camaro is a legendary rear-wheel drive sports car whose new generations are still popular today. Every year, the car receives updates not only in appearance but also in the list of power units.

Exterior and interior

The first-generation model, like its successors, belongs to the “ponycar” class. The car is available as a two-door coupe, as well as a convertible with a soft-top roof.

The radiator grille is located deeper in the body compared to the previous model. The round headlights are divided into three stripes. Changes also affected the shape of the rear wings and taillights. With this update, the car became more squat and voluminous. This model was equipped with a spoiler that improved aerodynamic performance.

The parameters of the first generation can vary depending on the body: length 4691 mm, width 1836 mm, height 1293 mm. The wheelbase is 2743 mm, and the ground clearance can vary from 124 to 130 mm.

The front panel features an updated dashboard with two analog dials and comfortable front-row seats. Additional options and systems include a radio. The car’s interior is finished in vinyl. Four colors are available. Two seats in front and a sofa in the back are standard. Additionally, headrests can be installed for the front seats. Small items can be placed in a lockable niche in front of the front passenger.
