The Chevrolet Traverse is built on the Lambda platform, which it shares with the Buick Enclave, GMC Acadia and Saturn Outlook.

The styling of the Chevrolet Traverse doesn’t differ from the brand’s latest vehicles, with the designers continuing to follow the direction set by the Chevrolet Malibu. The crossover can be recognized by a large grille with a crossbar in the middle, where the emblem is located. Headlight blocks go on the edge of the transition between the front wings and the bonnet of the car. The back part looks a little bit amusing – semicircular outlines of lights do not combine with sharp edges of transition surfaces. Well, the SUV’s silhouette succeeds – it’s quite clean and collected.

The Chevrolet Traverse is powered by a 3.6-litre direct-injection engine, producing 286bhp and a maximum torque of 345Nm at 2500-6000rpm. According to the developers, the Chevrolet Traverse has the best fuel efficiency of any ‘single-platformer’.
