2012 Chevrolet Traverse Owner's Manual
The Chevrolet Traverse is a K3 all-wheel drive SUV. The restyled version of the model made its debut at the New York Auto Show in April 2012.
Renewal of the Traverse can be safely called a full-fledged, because the car has changed both outside and inside. In the first case, the designers revised the front end by changing the grille, bumper and headlights, and tweaked the stern of the SUV. All this has resulted in the Traverse’s length being reduced from 5207mm to 5173mm. As for the width and height (1991 and 1770 mm, respectively), as well as the length of the wheelbase (3019 mm), they remained the same. The volume of the luggage compartment remained the same, which can range from 691 to 3293 litres.
The interior of the Chevrolet Traverse has been upgraded. We can even say that it is absolutely new, though it has kept its 7- or 8-seat layout and excellent equipment. Suffice to say, the Traverse is equipped with seven airbags, stabilization system, dual-zone climate control, rearview camera, blind spot monitoring and collision-avoidance systems. But that’s not all. The car’s creators are very proud of the airbag, which opens between the driver and front passenger. This is the first time such a system has been realised as standard.
