2013 Chevrolet Tahoe Owner's Manual
The Chevrolet Tahoe is a K3 SUV. The fourth generation debuted in September 2013.
By and large, the Tahoe hasn’t changed too much externally. However, it would be wrong to think that engineers sat idly by. On the contrary, they modernized almost each detail of the automobile. For example, the SUV has new spotlight headlights, wider rear track, adaptive magnetic dampers (option), front central airbag, 360 degree ambient control system, broken glass, motion sensors and vertical movement, keyless access and engine start with a button. This is not a complete list of innovations.
An important achievement of the engineers was the fact that the Chevrolet Tahoe lost weight while increasing the length from 5131 to 5181 mm. This result was achieved, in particular, due to production of the bonnet and fifth door made of aluminum. At the same time Chevrolet improved aerodynamics and noise insulation. Besides, the Tahoe has received electric power steering, which settings change depending on speed, and durable disk brakes Duralife on all wheels. Suspension system is independent in front and rigid axle with semi-elliptic leaf springs at the rear.
