The Chevrolet Corvette Z06 differs from the basic versions of the Corvette, firstly, by the presence of a highly accelerated seven-liter V8 engine rated at 500 horsepower. Maximum torque of the motor is 657Nm. The Chevrolet Corvette Z06 accelerates from zero to a hundred kilometres per hour in just four seconds, and its top speed is almost 300 kilometres per hour.

The Chevrolet Corvette Z06 comes standard with the Heads-Up system, which projects the speedometer and tachometer readings onto the windshield and allows the driver to stay focused on the road.
