2001 Chevrolet Tracker is an all-wheel drive mini-crossover from the American manufacturer, a representative of the second generation. The car is available in convertible or station wagon body styles. The 2002 model is presented in the basic configuration, LT and ZR2 versions. The SUV is available with rear or front-wheel drive as an option.
Technical characteristics
The engine lineup includes a 2.5-liter V6 with 155 horsepower, which is standard on the ZR2. A 4-cylinder inline-four with a displacement of 2 liters and 127 horsepower is also available. The engines are mated to a 5-speed manual transmission.
The SUV is built on a ladder-type frame and is characterized by high driving performance on mountainous and uneven surfaces. The ride quality is improved by an independent front suspension, and steering is facilitated by rack-and-pinion steering.
Safety systems include seat belts with three-point anchors. The 2001 Chevrolet Tracker is equipped with standard headlights with twilight sensors and daytime running lights. Electronic brake force distribution, as well as front disc brakes and rear drum brakes, increase the level of safety while driving.
