This car is created on one of the latest D2 GM platforms, just like the sedan. Thanks to this, the weight has been reduced by 91 kilograms compared to the previous models. The gasoline engine, as well as in the sedan version, has a capacity of 1.4 liters and generates 153 horsepower. Gasoline consumption per 100 kilometers is minimal, only 5.8 liters. Manual and automatic transmission are available. Both are six-speed. The volume of the trunk for a hatchback is quite impressive – 643 liters, if you fold the rear seats, it will increase more than twice. Thanks to its compact dimensions, the 2017 Chevrolet Cruze looks like a sports coupe. Already in the basic package you can get climate control, multimedia system with an eight-inch screen, 10 airbags. An upgraded modification includes heated steering wheel and seats, leather-covered interior, a rearview camera. The price of the base equipped car is 22 thousand dollars.

The Chevrolet Cruze Hatchback is a front-wheel drive Class C hatchback. The facelifted version of the second-generation model was launched in the US market in April 2018.

For more than half of Chevrolet’s buyers, the Cruze is the brand’s first car. So it’s no surprise that the stylish youthful hatchback has taken on an even more “angry” appearance in the course of a small facelift. However, all this aggression fell on the forward part of the automobile where all this was expressed in massive radiator grill and new design of 17 wheel disks. Behind, everything is more or less quiet, only the design of optics has changed. However, for the real rebels the RS package was saved. With it, the car looks a real “predator” with a huge black “mouth” and wide “fangs” of enlarged (fake) air ducts. In addition to this, cars with this package have 18-inch wheels with unique design and logo-butterflies painted in black. Unfortunately, all this “aggression” is limited to external styling. There is nothing new on the technical side.

As before, the Cruze hatchback is available with two engines: petrol – 1.4 (153 hp 240 Nm) and diesel – 1.6 (137 hp 325 Nm). The truck is equipped with both manual 6-speed gearbox and classic automatic transmission (petrol – 6-ACP; diesel – 9-ACP).

Chevrolet designers decided not to touch interior of the model. Only the “stuffing” of the multimedia system has undergone changes, which now promises to run much faster and can support Apple Car Play and Android Auto.

But we don’t have to blush for the equipment of Chevy Cruze. Here to you is keyless access with the start button, dual-zone climate, heated steering wheel, a rear-view camera, adaptive cruise, rain and light sensor, and still there are a lot of “and”. At the same time, the manufacturer does not forget about the safety of its passengers: ten airbags, blind spot monitoring, emergency braking system, directional stability system and much more.
